Peer Support Specialist-Senatobia, MS

What will I be doing?As a Peer Support Specialist, you will assist clients in their recovery process, crisis intervention, and create personalized treatment plans.
You will be working on:
Communication skills Individual Wellness Recovery Crisis intervention and treatment Case management activities Creating individual treatment plans based on individual needs Am I a good fit?In this position you will be travelling in the community to meet families where they are.
A flexible schedule is important for this role and allows you to have control over your session planning.
You will have significant documentation and travel, so good time management is a must!
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a mental health condition and/or substance use disorder, must be in recovery, must be open minded, and must be willing to share personal experiences with mental illness/substance use publicly.
Must be a High School Graduate or have GED.
Must have a valid driver's license in state of employment with a safe driving record.
Must have good communication skills, both written and oral.
Must have successfully completed state specific Peer Specialist training and exam.
Candidate must be certified as a Parent/Caregiver Peer Support Specialist Health Connect America and its companies are a multi-state, community mental health, behavioral health, family preservation, and therapeutic foster care services provider(s).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
